Attorney
Ogden L. Pitre is the managing attorney of Pitre Law Firm. Ogden is an experienced attorney with a strong background in general civil litigation, personal injury and successions.
Prior to joining Pitre Law Firm, Ogden represented the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for over a decade as an attorney in its Houston Field Office. During that time, he successfully closed over 200 transactions totaling more than $2 billion dollars. Those transactions include market rate, tax credit, mixed-income, mixed finance, nursing homes, assisted-living, and Section 8 assisted developments. He was also responsible for providing guidance on fair housing, community development, and state and local laws governing real estate.
In January of 2016, Ogden made the decision to move home to Opelousas to practice law with his father, the late Joshua Pitre, and great uncle, the late Marion Overton White. In that time, Ogden has embraced the community that helped to mold him into the person that he is, and hopes that he can give back to the community as much as it has given to him.
Today, Ogden represents a range of clients from individuals who are injured because of someone else’s negligence to families dealing with probate and estate issues.
